Areas of expertise / specialisation
Justin has devoted his entire 30 year + career to working in personal injury law firms. Although not admitted as a solicitor or a full CILEX Lawyer, Justin has studied law vocationally and has managed cases to trial in all areas of personal injury litigation, the last ten years exclusively in medical negligence.
His expertise in this area of work through senior fee-earning positions at national law firms, saw him make Partner in 2017 whilst managing a team to run group litigation in the substandard prescription of prophylaxis to members of our Armed Forces, and where he is credited for bringing the first case to trial examining the military’s failure to protect soldiers against the risk of Q-fever when deploying to Afghanistan.
In 2019, PI Law Direct invited Justin to bring his considerable experience and knowledge to develop their clinical negligence practice, which subsequently formed the sound foundation for the merging of clinical negligence practices with Devonshires LLP to form Devonshires Claims in 2021.
Justin’s drive is to maintain and improve good practice management, efficient case management processes, and quality client care.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys his family life, attempts to stay fit whilst appreciating the finer things, and is a long-suffering Norwich City FC supporter.
